Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Service Manager to lead our benefits service and take responsibility for developing the service for the future. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working within welfare benefits and a good understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems and the links with welfare issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness of the benefits service
  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality support to clients
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor and evaluate the service's performance and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in welfare benefits or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading teams and developing services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
