Maintenance Engineer Role

T&K Associates Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a team reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, performing routine and complex electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a maintenance service covering electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Manage routine, preventative, and planned maintenance of the plant/equipment
  • Provide technical support/input to projects
  • Perform modifications and installations
  • Maintain a CMMS Planned Preventative Maintenance system using SAP
  • Work with or alongside contractors whilst installing/maintaining equipment
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns including finding and fixing faults
  • Follow all Company procedures

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is essential
  • Served a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Engineering maintenance or equivalent
  • Some knowledge of electrical systems including control systems
  • Mechanical repairs and fault finding skills
  • Experience of welding and fabrication is essential
  • Be conversant with Health & Safety requirements and to perform tasks under current legislation
  • Use of hand power tools
