About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality youth work services, building trusting relationships with young people, and engaging them in a range of positive activities. This will involve working in partnership with young people to create youth groups, peer support, and workshops that inspire and motivate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver youth work services to young people in Wincanton, Henstridge, and Milborne Port
- Build and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and local communities
- Develop and deliver youth groups, peer support, and workshops that meet the needs of young people
- Work in partnership with young people to create and implement youth programmes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of youth services
Requirements:
- Experience of working with young people in a youth work setting
- Ability to build trusting relationships with young people and their families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to the principles of youth work and the values of the organisation
