Job Overview

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Service Manager to lead its cross-sectional imaging department. This is a key role within the trust, responsible for planning and developing services that meet Radiology Directorate and Trust Targets.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with significant experience in managing large teams and good knowledge of governance, risk management, service-relevant key performance indicators, and budget management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement service changes, including the implementation of new CT scanners and imaging systems.
  • Develop the skills of imaging staff to provide and meet the changing service needs in cross-sectional imaging.
  • Take an active role in risk management and be responsible for taking the lead in risk management and governance issues in the areas managed.
