The Opportunity: Drainage Engineer Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Drainage Engineer Trainee at our Birmingham depot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn and develop a rewarding career in the drainage industry.

About You:

  • You are a dedicated individual seeking to launch a career in drainage engineering.
  • You possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate professionalism when interacting with customers and the public.
  • You prioritize safety and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
  • You hold a valid driver's license.

The Role:

No prior drainage experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to bring you up to the necessary standard. As part of our team, you will work alongside experienced Drainage Engineers, gaining valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of drainage maintenance and repair.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the diagnosis and resolution of drainage issues, including blockages and pipe cleaning.
  • Participating in routine maintenance programs to ensure efficient drainage systems.
  • Responding to emergency callouts to address urgent drainage problems.

We are committed to providing our trainees with the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to excel in their roles. You will receive full training, personal protective equipment (PPE), and access to company equipment.

Working Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
