Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic school in Barking & Dagenham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a wide range of Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Class Teachers to provide targeted support to students with SEN
  • Develop and implement effective interventions and targets to enhance student learning
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, promoting their emotional and social well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • Previous experience working with young people with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
