Job Title: Senior Utility Surveyor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utility Surveyor to join our team at Matchtech, working with a leading player in the engineering sector. This permanent position is based in East Birmingham and offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your surveying expertise in a collaborative and professional environment.

The successful candidate will conduct precise surveys to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements, performing utility surveys and mapping underground utilities. They will also prepare detailed survey reports and present findings to project teams, utilising advanced surveying tools and software to collect and analyse data.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to support project delivery, maintaining comprehensive records of survey data and documentation. You will ensure all surveying activities adhere to industry standards and safety protocols, providing technical support and guidance to junior staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deep excavations multi utilities experience (i.e., water, gas, electric, etc.)
  • Utilities Detection/Mapping or equivalent
  • Experience in setting out & as-built capture with GPS/Total Stations
  • Good knowledge of PAS128 and PAS256
  • Good computer skills
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £40,000 - £45,000 basic, plus company car or car allowance and private medical cover. You will also have opportunities for professional development and career progression, working in a supportive and dynamic work environment.

This permanent role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including employee benefits and a company car or car allowance. The work pattern is site-based, five days per week.
