Job Title: Senior Town Planner

Location: Flexible, with hybrid working (1-2 days per week in the office)

Salary: £38,000 - £51,000 DOE

  9. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join our client's team. With at least 3 years of experience in town planning, you will bring strong expertise to our client's projects, contributing to the success of developments and planning applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing a range of planning applications and development proposals from inception through to completion
  2. Providing expert planning advice to clients, guiding them through complex projects
  3. Preparing planning reports and statements, ensuring compliance with current legislation
  4. Engaging with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
  5. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, both in the office and remotely
  6. Staying up-to-date with relevant policy changes and best practices in the industry
Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years of experience in town planning, ideally across both public and private sectors
  2. UK Drivers licence
  3. Strong understanding of UK planning regulations and policies
  4. Excellent project management and organisational skills
  5. Ability to work independently and take initiative
  6. Confident communication and negotiation skills
