About the Role

As an expert in underwriting, you will be responsible for assessing, processing, and binding new and renewal business and endorsements within agreed timescales. You will work closely with brokers and internal departments to gather risk information and build strong relationships with the Global Broking Centre Team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Process and bind new and renewal business and endorsements within agreed timescales.
  • Complete pre-bind and post-bind administrative processes in a timely manner.
  • Ensure individual risks are processed promptly and in accordance with the Delegated Underwriting Authority.
  • Record risk details on a Policy Administration System in an accurate and timely fashion.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in an underwriting support role or equivalent.
  • A minimum of A-level standard (or equivalent) education.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-discipline and organization.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • High level of numeracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • CII or partially CII qualified (an advantage).
