About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housing Law Solicitor to join our team at Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd. As a key member of our Housing Department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation to clients on a range of housing-related matters.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members
  • Manage a caseload of housing cases, including public and private housing matters
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with homelessness, disrepair, eviction, and possession proceedings
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
  • Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisors and ensure compliance with file management
Requirements
  • Valid Practising Certificate
  • Proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable clients
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded housing work and ability to service privately funded cases
  • Extensive experience in dealing with housing-related work
