Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Assistant to join our team at Jo Hand Staffing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales and purchase ledgers, preparing and processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Manage the sales ledger, including credit control and debt collection.
  • Process vendor invoices, matching to purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
  • Audit vendor statements and obtain missing invoices.
  • Perform strong spreadsheet and financial analysis, including Excel lookups and pivot tables.
  • Prepare journals and enter data onto SAP Business One/Sage Financial systems.
  • Maintain ledgers and reconcile various ledger accounts.
  • Perform ad hoc duties and other general account office admin tasks as required.
Requirements
  • At least two years of recent relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Business One, Sage Payroll, and Sage Manufacturing 50.
  • Excellent spreadsheet and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
