Financial Operations Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly audits and reports to reconcile financial data, working closely with our sales and delivery teams to ensure accurate revenue and cost capture.
- Participate in the month-end close process, calculating monthly accruals and supplying data for month-end reports.
- Audit monthly revenue and costs, requesting adjustments as necessary to ensure the integrity of our financial records.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing timely and accurate project performance summary reports.
- Ensure the accuracy of gross profit and commission reporting, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to field support personnel, fostering effective relationships within our team.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by stakeholders, utilizing your problem-solving skills to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience, preferably in Finance or Management.
- At least one year of experience in a customer service or financial support capacity, with a strong understanding of financial operations and analytical tools.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and leadership skills while prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Solid understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
