Assistant Retail Manager - Travel Retail

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational leader to support our Store Manager in driving the success of our MAC store at Manchester Airport Terminal 1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams to achieve targets, with strong retail operations skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time role requiring variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and special events. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and mentoring our sales associates to deliver outstanding results. About the Role:

  • You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • You will lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and setting the standard for our sales team.
  • You will coach and mentor our sales associates to help them reach their full potential, providing regular feedback and guidance to ensure they have the tools needed to succeed.
  • You will be responsible for managing inventory, cash reconciliation, and other retail operations tasks to maintain high standards of efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational customer service and lead by example
  • Previous experience with inventory management, cash reconciliation, and other retail operations tasks
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and special events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale software
