Role Overview

The Supporting Education Group is seeking an experienced Early Years Tutor to join our team. As an Early Years Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship program via a face-to-face approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship program
  • Prepare and produce schemes of work
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records for each learner
  • Provide progression, retention, and achievement information for the course
  • Deliver inclusive and high-quality courses, materials, and opportunities to all learners
  • Assess learner performance in the workplace
  • Work with employers to manage a caseload of learners
  • Carry out regular progress reviews with learners
  • Provide ongoing information, advice, and guidance to learners

Requirements

  • Teaching Qualification at Level 3/5 or similar and Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience working within the childcare/early years sector
  • Experience of working with young people aged 16 plus
  • At least five years' experience working in an education environment with a demonstrable track record of successful outcomes
