Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and communicative individual to join our Student Hub Team as a Pensions Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing student fees, providing financial advice, and maintaining accurate records.

London South East Colleges is a successful and innovative College operating across multiple sites in London. With nearly 14,000 students and 1,000 staff members, we offer a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage student fees and financial information
  • Provide financial advice to students
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Work closely with students and staff to provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in numeracy and literacy
  • High-level understanding of customer service principles
  • Experience working in an educational environment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £28,500 - £30,500 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive:

  • Annual leave of 27 days (excluding bank holidays) plus 3 efficiency closure days during Christmas
  • Up to 2 additional College closure days
  • Leave for volunteering (pro rata for part-time staff)
