About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Statistician to join our team at The International Society for Bayesian Analysis. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Bayesian Methods, you will be responsible for shaping a cutting-edge research project between core methodology and public health partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement original research in statistics or an equivalent quantitative field
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets using advanced statistical methods
  • Collaborate with public health partners to design and conduct epidemiological studies
  • Publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals

Requirements:

  • PhD in statistics, mathematics, physics, evolutionary biology, epidemiology, computer science, or a closely related discipline
  • Excellent programming skills in R, UNIX, text processing, and data handling
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to travel and spend time in Seattle as part of the project
