About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Language Content Strategist to join our team at H&M Group. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for shaping the communications strategy for our Swedish market, ensuring that our copy is customer-centric, effective, and tailored to our brand tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elevate the online and in-store experience through copy that inspires and connects with our Swedish customers
  • Build brand recognition in Sweden through the H&M Group tone of voice
  • Contribute to the content localization strategy in Sweden
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of copy across all touchpoints for the Swedish market
  • Enhance the customer journey and experience, ensuring clear language across our product pages
  • Increase conversion and reduce return rates through accurate copy
  • Work in our translations tool to build up translation memory to improve workflow and optimize processes
  • Set up improvement initiatives for translation workflows
  • Translate, trans-create, and edit engaging, on-brand copy, including product descriptions, email newsletters, store windows, editorial, and promotions, ensuring all copy is clear and localized where relevant
  • Lead communications for the Swedish market by creating overarching messaging and copy in collaboration with the copy team
  • Create and maintain market-specific style guides to ensure consistency across communications
  • Liaise with other teams in the business to ensure smooth production of translation materials
  • Own the in-house translations process
  • Lead improvement initiatives for internal and external tools and processes
  • QA and maintain quality of copy on the product and department landing pages with regular quality checks

Requirements

  • Fluent Swedish and English language skills
  • A thorough understanding of the various stylistic nuances of Swedish and ability to adapt to tone of voice guidelines
  • Experience within a copy or content role, ideally with a focus on translation
  • Ability to work on tasks independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
