Media Relations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Relations Manager to join our team at Blue Legal. As a key member of our Communications department, you will play a critical role in advancing our media relations strategy and showcasing our legal practice expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive media relations strategy to raise our firm's profile and demonstrate our expertise.
  • Collaborate with our Communications and Business Development teams to advance our media relations goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and journalists.
  • Coach and prepare senior stakeholders for media engagement activities and interviews.
  • Write compelling content, including press releases, media alerts, and awards submissions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in media relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.
  • Excellent relationships with media contacts and journalists.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
