Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join our client's team in Wigan. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Materials Handling Equipment for a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Materials Handling Equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment, including forklifts, plant machinery, and HGVs
  • Work in a fast-paced workshop environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Vehicles, FLTs, Plant, and HGVs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
