We are seeking a Group Marketing Manager to join our team, focusing on developing different divisions within the Group. In this role, you will be responsible for Brand Awareness, driving sales, and developing opportunities to enter new markets.

This is a primarily office-based role, within our Head Office in Chelmsford, although travel across the UK to our other locations will be required.

Job Role

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for increasing the company's visibility across social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and engage target audiences. This role will involve developing and executing social media strategies, ensuring that the company competes effectively with competitors who are gaining attention through strong social media presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored marketing strategies for each division, aligned with Horizon Group goals
  • Design effective social media strategies, oversee content creation, and engage with the online community to boost brand visibility
  • Ensure consistent branding, develop new brand identities, and promote brand advocacy through client testimonials and case studies
  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, track performance metrics, and collaborate with sales to drive lead generation
  • Work closely with sales and strategy teams, supporting lead generation and aligning marketing with broader business objectives
  • Oversee SEO, SEM, website optimization, and email campaigns to enhance online visibility and engagement
  • Manage marketing projects and budgets efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and maximizing ROI
  • Analyse marketing data, report performance to senior management, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek ways to enhance marketing effectiveness

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, with at least 7-10 years of experience and 2-3 years in a managerial capacity
  • Relevant qualifications, including a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, and CIM qualification
  • UK market knowledge, including in-depth understanding of consumer behaviour and marketing trends
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media management platforms
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including agencies and partners
  • Ability to respond to changing market conditions and business needs
