We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism in a Reception class on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting pupils who require developmental support, including academic interventions in reading/writing or maths. Strong language and literacy skills are essential, as well as the ability to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels. A clear understanding of phonics is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a child with Autism in a Reception class on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist with academic interventions in reading/writing or maths

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs
