Job Description:

This is a temporary to permanent position for a Quality Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured products. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of standard practices and procedures, as well as experience with data analysis and interpretation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Carrying out in-process inspections and tooling checks to ensure that products meet customer specifications.
  • Performing final inspections and electrical testing on manufactured products using ATE, multimeter, and megger.
  • Completing Final Inspection & Test Record sheets and Test Results sheets.
  • Conducting First Article Inspections and completing First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Inspecting goods received from suppliers and booking work through on ERP systems.
  • Recording results of inspections on statistical spreadsheets and controlling the calibration of inspection and test equipment.
  • Programming Automatic Test Equipment and procuring necessary hardware.

Requirements:
  • A job-specific proficiency and good working knowledge of standard practices.
  • Interprets and applies data analysis, procedures, and policies.
  • Performs tasks and supports projects under general supervision.


Estimated salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
