We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with communication and swallowing difficulties.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised management plans for children and young people with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including education, local authority, medical, and nursing staff, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Develop and deliver training to schools, early years settings, parents, and staff to support therapy delivery and promote best practice.
- Contribute to the development of the Speech and Language Therapy service, including service planning, quality improvement, and research.
- Participate in the Trust's Learning and Development programme to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Professional Qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience of working with children and young people with communication and swallowing difficulties.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
