About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Activity Coordinator to join our team at Bupa. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities for our residents, promoting their physical and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a range of activities, including musical performances, days out, exercise classes, and arts and crafts.
  • Produce and update an activity planner, working within a set budget.
  • Support residents in participating in activities and ensure their needs are met.
  • Organize birthday surprises and other special events for residents.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange activities and events.
  • Assist with meal duties and other tasks as required.
  • Update paperwork, care plans, and activity notes, and manage emails.
  • Support the home with social media and other tasks as required.

Requirements

You will need to be a creative thinker with excellent communication skills, able to manage budgets and prioritize tasks effectively. You should be passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have a sense of humor.
