Job Title: Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team at Get Staff. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient assembly of electrical wiring and plumbing systems in control panels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical wiring and plumbing systems in control panels.
  • Assemble a range of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Conduct quality inspections and testing of all equipment post-production.
  • Work closely with the project coordinating team to deliver the production schedule and advise on timescales.
  • Load and offload delivery vehicles either by hand or using a forklift.
  • Assist with stock taking when necessary.
  • Manage and maintain stock levels and notify the Operations Manager of reordering requirements.
  • Take incoming deliveries, check, unpack, and store in the correct area of the workshop.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate records on the CRM.
  • Support team members to complete any tasks as required from time to time.
  • Keep a clean, organized workspace, following all Health & Safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an electrical engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of pumps, filtration, and control systems.
  • Can be either electrically or mechanically biased.
  • Forklift Truck License.
  • Health and Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking.
  • Computer literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
