Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at Yodel. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing support to the Management Accounts Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the provision of a full financial control service to the business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial data, including month-end results and variance analysis, to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial processes and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial decision support, analyzing business performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business partners to support the preparation and analysis of plans and forecasts.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies, ensuring accurate and reliable financial information.
Requirements
  • Part-qualified or experienced in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting control systems, such as UNIT 4 or SAP.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
