Quality Controller Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Controller to join our team at Tayto Ltd in Scunthorpe. The successful candidate will have experience in quality auditing and control within a manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time position, working on a day and night shift pattern, with shifts from 6AM to 2PM, 2PM to 10PM, and 10PM to 6AM (Monday to Friday). The estimated salary for this role is £12.08 per hour (night shift).

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality auditing and control within a manufacturing environment. They will also be able to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Audit processing operations and complete documentation checks.
  • Identify potential issues and communicate them to the operational team.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Complete QA paperwork with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct environmental and hand swabbing, water and product sampling, chemical titrations, and any other sampling as required.
  • Panel finished products daily to check quality and accuracy to specification.
  • Use IT systems to record and report day-to-day events and share data with the operational teams.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a quality controller.
  • Understanding of production procedures.
