We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our multi-occupancy children's home, providing high-quality care to up to four children.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services.
- Drive the development of the home and our wider service, collaborating with the Senior Management Team to achieve our strategic vision and operational goals.
- Lead and support staff, continuously improving standards and practices, and promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and young people.
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care (or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in residential childcare and 2 years in a managerial role (Deputy Manager/Team Leader considered).
- Skills: Excellent communication, decision-making under pressure, and a strong team player.
- Requirements: UK driving license and access to a vehicle, evidence of the right to work in the UK.
- High Staff-to-Child Ratios: Ensuring quality care and no agency staff.
- Comprehensive Training: Including induction and regular in-house training.
- Professional Development: Funded qualifications including Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare, Level 5 in Leadership and Management, and DDP Levels 1 and 2.
- Staff bonus after 2 years of service, subject to company performance.
