As an Aviation Project Leader, you will be instrumental in steering projects within the aircraft component manufacturing sector. This role is tailored for individuals with a background in project engineering or aircraft component repair, who are eager to transition into a managerial capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop and manage project plans while coordinating with diverse departments including Production, Purchasing, Design, and Quality Assurance.
- Maintain effective communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and stock control processes.
- Facilitate customer interactions, including the creation and tracking of Contract Change Orders.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in aircraft component repair and manufacturing, particularly in General Aviation Engineering.
- Strong project management capabilities and familiarity with engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant International and National Civil Aviation legislation.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach, with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000, alongside opportunities for progression, autonomy, and a flexible working environment. Additional benefits include performance bonuses and comprehensive company perks.
