Personal Tax Compliance Specialist

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Tax Compliance & Advisory Senior to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, providing expert advice and guidance on tax compliance and advisory services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal tax, with experience in managing complex tax cases and providing high-quality advice to clients. You will be a qualified or nearly qualified CTA, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to support and mentor junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, providing expert advice and guidance on tax compliance and advisory services.
- Process self-assessment and personal tax returns efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and complete P11D forms.
- Communicate with colleagues, clients, and HMRC by telephone, email, and in writing where required.
- Provide ad-hoc assistance with tax queries and projects.
- Qualified or nearly qualified CTA.
- Experience in personal tax and capital allowances for sole traders and partnerships.
- Tax advisory experience essential for owner-managed businesses and families covering IHT, CGT, Income Tax, and Company Tax issues.
- Experience of corporate restructuring desirable.
- Experience of software to complete self-assessment returns essential.
- Experience of Iris personal tax and suite of software preferred but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and extremely organized.
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to support and mentor junior members of the team.
