Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced CNC Press Brake Operator with supervisory or team leading experience to work in Dewsbury, on the day shift. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee a small team of 3 Press Brake Operators, ensuring all production needs and tasks are completed to order and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure production needs are met by effectively managing the team and workload.
  • Operate a Bystronic Press Brake with ease, utilizing your extensive experience in press brake operations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training to team members.
  • Organize daily work schedules for Press Brake operations to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure Quality Control by conducting regular checks and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and promote productivity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years previous Press Brake experience and 1 year in a Team Leading or Supervisory position.
  • Experience of Bystronic controls is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CNC programmes.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • CNC Laser experience/knowledge would be advantageous.
  • C/B FLT License would be beneficial.
