Job Description

PKF Smith Cooper is seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our Corporate Finance team in Derby and Nottingham. As a graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, and deal management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing financial performance and providing insightful recommendations to clients
  • Undertaking valuations of private companies and identifying potential acquisition targets
  • Researching sectors and communicating with clients to identify opportunities for growth
  • Assisting in the project management of transaction processes, including liaison with other financial advisers, solicitors, funders, and clients

Requirements:
  • Any degree at 2:1 or above, with a strong academic record at A Level and GCSE
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in mergers and acquisitions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
