Urogynaecology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our team at Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a specialist interest in Urogynaecology and will be responsible for providing care to women with complex Urogynae symptoms, including prolapse and incontinence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full Urogynaecology service with skills in Urodynamics and surgical treatment of incontinence and prolapse.
- Supervise junior medical staff and provide educational programs for junior medical staff, including formal teaching sessions and clinical audits.
- Develop and maintain good working practices with wards, out-patients, and the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure a robust process for reviewing the quality of services provided and maintaining the highest standards.
- Completed CCT or equivalent (CESR) and on the Specialist Register.
- Undertaken appropriate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Ability to provide a full Urogynaecology service with skills in Urodynamics and surgical treatment of incontinence and prolapse.
