About the Role

As a Shift Manager at McDonald's United Kingdom, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute each shift, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute each shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Run informative and energetic shift huddles to motivate and engage the team.
  • Monitor performance during the shift, taking action to meet guest demand while ensuring that the team is meeting McDonald's standards.
  • Monitor safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to ensure a seamless handover.
  • Meet targets during shifts and help assigned departments meet their goals.
  • Check food holding temperatures to ensure food safety compliance, manage cash positions, and make bank deposits.
  • Ensure all associates are aware of new promotions, keep labour costs low, and order new supplies.
