Axiom Learning is a pioneering education technology startup dedicated to empowering students of all ages to find happiness and success. We're seeking an exceptional Lead Developer to spearhead the development and ongoing maintenance of our assessment and curricula products.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Taking ownership of the entire development lifecycle for our assessment and curricula products.
  • Addressing bugs, glitches, and feature fixes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product management, senior management) to gather requirements and ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Designing and building new features for both products, ensuring scalability, user-friendly design, and seamless integration.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of security, data privacy, and compliance with relevant education standards and regulations.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of all development processes, updates, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Working independently to manage development tasks, timelines, and deliverables, while being adaptable to the changing needs of a start-up environment.

**Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a full-stack web developer with proficiency in front-end and back-end development.
  • Strong experience with database design & management, REST API integrations, and cloud-based deployment.
  • Familiarity with the education technology space is a plus but not required.
  • The ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**What We Offer:**
