Specialist Drug & Alcohol Support Worker

This role involves providing comprehensive support to individuals with complex needs, specifically those affected by domestic abuse and domestic violence.

The successful candidate will work in Bath, assessing clients' needs, creating tailored support plans, and monitoring progress. They will refer clients with drug and/or alcohol issues to relevant treatment services, conduct thorough needs assessments, and develop personalized support plans.

  • Key responsibilities include supporting clients with multiple needs to achieve safe, independent lives, sharing knowledge of best practices with the team, and identifying and addressing safeguarding concerns.
  • They will also act as the primary point of contact between agencies and work collaboratively to minimize void times.

This is a fixed-term contract, and the salary is £25,500 per annum (37.5 hours). The role requires a full driving license and access to a vehicle, proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and basic spreadsheets, and a health or social care qualification at degree level or equivalent.
