Job Summary
CTG is seeking a skilled Workstation Technician to join our team in Rochester, MN. As a Workstation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' computer systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure hardware and software orders are received, configured, and installed.
- Verify and document device specifications according to purchase orders and company standards.
- Work independently to provide on-site installation, customer service, and technical support.
- Serve as a technical liaison to collaborate with other support services, such as Help Desk and Applications.
- Assist with end-user training and explain technical concepts to a diverse customer base.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for installations or repair requests.
- Evaluate and process equipment according to IT Security policy and guidelines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 2 years of professional customer service experience supporting PC, Macintosh, desktop computing hardware, and peripheral equipment.
- OR Associates degree, OR two years of Technical School training in Computers, Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
