Job Title: Environmental, Health and Safety Officer

Join Hunter Selection, a leading recruitment agency, in our search for a highly skilled Environmental, Health and Safety Officer to support our clients in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety practices and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
