Job Title: Truck Driver

KDM Hire Ltd is a professional equipment rental company seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to transport equipment across the North and South of Ireland. As an essential member of our team, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring the safe transportation of goods.

Salary: £15.25 per hour plus overtime at time and a half & double time on Sunday

The ideal candidate will hold a valid HGV Driver Licence (Category CE) and have previous experience operating HGV vehicles, preferably in a similar role or industry. A self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset is required. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a rotational basis as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely drive HGV's to transport equipment to and from designated locations
• Conduct pre and post-inspections of equipment in compliance with company policies and regulations
• Secure loads properly and safely for transport, adhering to relevant safety standards and procedures
• Communicate effectively with the transport department, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise

Requirements:
• Valid HGV Driver Licence (Category CE)
• Previous experience operating HGV vehicles, preferably in a similar role or industry
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to operate navigation systems and applications
