About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team as a Tier 2 Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing second line support in our ISOC and ensuring the continuous smooth operation of our network services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote support and identify issues affecting customers' systems and services, followed by performing a 2nd line diagnosis with a view to resolution.
  • Work independently and be trusted to provide professional support services to our customers.
  • Self-educate and attain industry-standard IT accreditations.
  • Liaise with clients to analyze, review, identify, and develop relationships to meet or exceed customer needs.
  • Contribute to the highest levels of prospect and customer satisfaction.
  • Make recommendations on improvements to our services and service quality.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year's experience providing security solutions in a technical support role.
  • CCNA or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the primary function of networking equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wide area communications.
  • Awareness of vendor products, including Check Point, Juniper, Cisco, Extreme, Aruba, and Exinda.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • An IT degree is desirable but not essential.
