Ecologist Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Ecologist to join our team at RSK Biocensus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field surveys, assessments, and project management services to our clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act with professional integrity and exercise sound judgment in all aspects of your work
  • Contribute to the development of project deliverables, including reports and presentations, to meet client expectations
  • Manage small projects, including project finances, and assist senior colleagues in managing larger projects
  • Conduct fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys, and travel as required
  • Oversee site work and undertake practical elements of habitat management or creation
  • Assist with the delivery of survey and research reports, including document reviews and statistical analyses

Requirements

  • First degree in a relevant discipline, such as ecology, biology, or environmental science
  • Relevant experience since graduation, with a focus on fieldwork and project management
  • Full UK driving license
  • Species-specific personal licenses are desirable
  • Associate membership with CIEEM and adherence to their Code of Professional Conduct
