Job Title: Experienced Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Hampshire Wheelchair Service team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex mobility needs.

About the Role:
  • You will use your clinical expertise to assess the mobility needs of adults and children, and prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs with associated accessories.
  • You will supervise junior staff and provide clinical guidance to non-clinical colleagues.
  • You will work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to deliver high-quality service performance and achieve measured outcomes.
  • You will engage with service user groups and stakeholders to facilitate joint working and identify opportunities for improving service user outcomes.
  • You will contribute to the development of internal training resources and provide support for external training programs.
  • You will undertake and document risk assessments and corresponding risk management.
Requirements:
  • You must be a registered Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Clinical Scientist with the HCPC, or a registered Nurse with the NMC.
  • You must hold a full current UK driving licence for a manual transmission vehicle and be willing to drive Ross Care vehicles.
  • You will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
