Care Specialist for Young Adults with SEN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Specialist to join our team in supporting young adults with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic day centre setting.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be kind, nurturing, and committed to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with complex needs.
This is a full-time, permanent role starting ASAP, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, offering a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits including free hot meals, fully funded qualifications, and career development opportunities.
About the RoleAs a Care Specialist, you will provide personalized support with life skills, work experience, and education activities, promoting independence and encouraging individuals to make the most of their abilities.
- Supporting with daily living tasks, homework, and study activities
- Promoting independence and confidence among service users
- Liaising with families, other agencies, and healthcare professionals as needed
You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise through ongoing training and professional development programs.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with individuals with SEN or similar conditions (desirable)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
