Nurse Unit Manager - Neuro rehab and Mental Health

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Unit Manager in our newly opened unit located in the South of Oldham. As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs arising from dementia, learning disabilities, neuro-disabilities, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of nurses and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality care is delivered to patients.
  2. Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant Nursing Qualification (RMN, RGN or RNLD)
  2. Minimum 6 months UK Nursing experience
  3. Valid NMC Registration with no restrictions
  4. Eligibility to Live and Work in the UK (British Passport Holder)
  5. Strong Team working skills
  6. A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  7. A positive attitude and naturally caring and compassionate
  8. A commitment to high-quality care, values and evidence-based practice
