We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Team Leader at our Greggs bakery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the bakery when the Manager is not present, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of bakery staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of quality and customer service.
  • Manage the bakery floor, including inventory management, stock control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, as required.
