Job Title: Paint Sprayer

At Meridian Business Support, we are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team. As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for the professional painting of various wood-based products manufactured in our Deeside plant.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, and solvents
* Select, match and mix colours
* Apply primer coats, main coats and finishes
* Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
* Touch up paintwork where required
* Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas
* Complete work from start to finish within set time frames

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Spray Painter
* Skilled in the profession with a minimum of 3+ years experience in a painter or sprayer role
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised
* Keen to support others and a cooperative team player
* The ability to maintain a consistent high standard whilst under pressure
* Able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given
* Customer focused and team oriented
* Possess knowledge of painting techniques and tools
