Director of Clinical Services

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Services Director to lead our team at Spire Leicester. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting a patient-focused, efficient, and quality service that drives the continued success of Spire Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the hospital's clinical strategy, aligning with our corporate direction and supporting the overall business strategy.
  • Establish a working environment and culture that prioritizes health, safety, and security, while actively improving patient care and outcomes.
  • Formulate strategies and policies for service improvement, balancing quality healthcare delivery with sound financial performance.
  • Set and maintain clinical practice standards within our Governance and Regulatory framework.
  • Act as Caldicott Guardian, ensuring confidentiality and data protection, and governing the use of patient information within the hospital.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare provider sector, with a strong track record of clinical, management, and leadership skills.
  • Competence across a range of clinical, management, and leadership skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration and further education and development.
  • Demonstrate post-registration, continual professional development in management and clinically related subjects.
