About the Role

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Ward Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people with mental health issues.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop care plans for young people in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
  • Contribute to the management of the ward and ensure the smooth delivery of care services
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, families, and external agencies

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Active registration with the relevant regulatory body (NMC, SWE, or HCPC)
  • Significant post-qualification experience in community mental health services to postgraduate diploma level
  • Excellent assessment and clinical decision-making skills
