Senior Instrument Designer

Wood is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrument Designer to support our Client in the execution of projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar sector.

The successful candidate will join a multi-discipline engineering team, supporting Tullow Oil on a hybrid basis in the Glasgow Office.

As a Senior Instrument Designer, you will contribute to engineering excellence by providing the link between engineering design theory and practical application, translating critical design concepts into workable plans for tangible end-products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum ISCED level 5 short-cycle tertiary education in engineering discipline
  • Valid Offshore Certs and willingness to go offshore
  • Full understanding of materials and methods used in instrumentation
  • Ability to interpret key documents, including engineering standards, material specifications, P&IDs, and Line List
  • Competent user of CAD/D software

Requirements:
