Interim Payroll Consultant

As an Interim Payroll Consultant, you will form part of our client's Human Resources department and contribute to ensuring smooth payroll operations. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing live payroll runs, collaborating with the current payroll team, and providing guidance and training to current staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing live payroll runs to identify potential discrepancies.
- Working closely with the current payroll team to resolve pay formula issues and implement fixes.
- Leading on Term Time only and other council pay calculations review from a payroll team perspective.
- Collaborating with the current SI on proposed solutions and testing in Oracle Cloud Fusion.
- Providing guidance and training to current payroll staff on identifying and testing TTO and absence pay or formula issues.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role within a public sector organisation.
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional configuration, including earnings/deductions setup, fast formulas, and eligibility rules.
- Knowledge of other Oracle HCM modules and/or Oracle Fusion cloud PaaS infrastructure.
- Experience with integration platforms and techniques, such as REST APIs or SOAP Web Services.
Annual Salary:This position offers a competitive annual salary of £50,000.
